 1. Introduction Welcome to CaloScan AI ("we," "our," or "the App"). By downloading, accessing, or using our mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. Medical Disclaimer (Important) CaloScan AI uses artificial intelligence to estimate nutritional information. The App is for informational purposes only and is NOT a medical device.

  • The nutritional data provided is an estimate and may not be 100% accurate.

  • You should not rely on this information as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

  • Always consult with a physician or qualified healthcare provider before starting any diet or fitness program.

3. User Accounts To use certain features, you may need to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use the App.

4. Subscriptions and Payments The App offers a free version and a Premium subscription ("CaloScan AI Premium").

  • Billing: Subscriptions purchased on Android are managed by Google Play. Payment will be charged to your Google Play Account at confirmation of purchase.

  • Auto-Renewal: Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

  • Cancellations: You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Google Play Store settings. We cannot cancel subscriptions on your behalf.

  • Refunds: Refunds are handled according to Google Play's refund policy.

5. User Content and AI Analysis You retain ownership of the photos you upload. By uploading photos to CaloScan AI, you grant us a license to process these images solely for the purpose of providing nutritional analysis. We do not sell your personal photos to third parties.

6. Limitation of Liability To the fullest extent permitted by law, CaloScan AI and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the App, including but not limited to damages for loss of data or health complications. The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis.

7. Changes to Terms We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page or within the App.
